About This Trial

This open-label study (meaning all participants knew which treatment they received) examined how a medication called secukinumab behaves in the body when given through an IV infusion (directly into a vein) in adults with Giant Cell Arteritis (GCA) or Polymyalgia Rheumatica (PMR).

Researchers looked at how quickly the drug is absorbed and cleared, as well as its safety and tolerability. Secukinumab is already approved for other conditions; this study tested a different way of delivering it.

Condition: Giant Cell Arteritis / Polymyalgia Rheumatica
