Bio

Insiya Nehal is a Clinical Research Coordinator at Lakeside Clinical Research Center, a dedicated clinical research site serving participants across Bellevue, WA and the greater Seattle area.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Physiology from Seattle Pacific University, where she also gained hands-on laboratory experience through multiple research roles spanning RNAi procedures, genomics, and human physiology.

At Lakeside, Insiya coordinates all aspects of clinical trials, from participant visits and study startup processes to regulatory submissions, sponsor queries, and participant referrals ensuring every study runs smoothly and every participant feels supported throughout their journey.

Insiya’s background reflects a consistent commitment to both science and patient care. During her studies, she served as a Teaching Assistant for Human Physiology and Genetics, mentored student research projects, and completed a healthcare internship at a pediatric clinic in Bellevue, where she worked directly with patients using clinical screening tools.

That combination of research rigor and patient-facing experience now serves her well in rheumatology research, where she supports studies focused on conditions such as Gout, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Lupus, Osteoporosis, Sjögren’s Syndrome, Polymyalgia Rheumatica, and Giant Cell Arteritis, conditions that significantly impact the daily lives of patients across the greater Seattle area.

What Insiya finds most energizing about clinical research is its dynamic, all-encompassing nature and the opportunity to be at the forefront of medical innovation every day.
